£25 worth of Tesco clothing vouchers

What it is?
If you joint the Tesco Clothing regular e-mail newletter, it will give you £25 worth of coupons off Tesco clothing.
How?
Simply go to Tesco Clothing and see the voucher link in the top left of the page.
What are the coupons exactly?
This is what the terms state
"...entrants will be sent in the post coupons equating to £25 against nominated spend in single transactions on any clothing (£4 off spend of £20, £5 off spend of £25, £6 off spend of £30 and £10 off spend of £50).
Coupons will be sent within 6 weeks of registering. Registration is open to all residents of the UK & IOM. Only one registration is valid per individual."
Is there any way to do it without signing up to the newsletter?
No. Effectively Tesco is giving you the coupons in order to be able to market future offers to you in the hope you'll spend the cash. The £25 coupons is being given to you effectively as a payment for joining the mailing list.
However once you start receiving the email you can opt out of it at any point, thus cancelling it. Tesco's privacy policy states that if you do this it will wipe all of the data it holds on your relating to this:-
"Opting out and retention of your data
If you use our opt-out instructions to inform us that that you no longer wish to receive the Tesco Clothing email your data will be deleted from the database. Opt-out instructions will be included in every Tesco clothing email that you are sent "
I hope you save some money
Martin
PS. Forumites I know this has been elsewhere on the forum, but wanted to do it as a discrete note for the e-mail.

* Using these links helps the site stay ad-free and free to use, as they’re ‘affiliated links’ which invisibly take you via commercial price comparison services like Moneysupermarket or Find, which then pay this site per click
You shouldn’t notice any difference, the links don’t impact the product at all and the editorial line (the things I write) is NEVER impacted by the revenue. If it isn’t possible to get an affiliate link for the best product, it is still recommended and still included. The following www.clothingattesco.com is an identical unaffiliated link provided for the sake of transparency. Click on the following link for more details on this site’s finances.
