Hi everyone, I need what I think is 4 different parts for my so called "bargain" kholer taps I bought in a sale, it is just the taps and spout no connections or anything (well I am a woman!!) I have looked on the 'net' and found instruction manual with pictures of the missing bits, but don't know where to get them from, my local plumbcenter is no help what so ever.

google "kohler taps spares". Several sites come up.....have no idea of their competence though.0

does anyone know if I can use 'ordinary spare parts' or does it have to be kholer, its hoses and a t assembly
thanks Suzy0 -
I'm afraid that you are being a bit too vague to get any meaningful advice. If you cannot describe the missing bits then how are we supposed to know what you are looking for. If, when you mention hoses, you mean flexible tap connectors, then yes any standard flexible tap connector will do the job. These are not normally sold as part of a tap, they are normally purchased separately. Although they are sometimes supplied with the taps. I cannot begin to understand what you are referring to when you say a T assembly. A photo might be of some help.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

It strikes me that it would be not too bright to attempt to try and use anything but the correct parts for this tap TBH.does anyone know if I can use 'ordinary spare parts' or does it have to be kholer, its hoses and a t assembly
thanks Suzy

Looks like its a mixer tap for a 3 hole basin, firstly you shouln't need part No86189 as thats the feed inlet. Secondly Part No 30058 never seen them with flexable hose's as the gap between the valve's and the T assembley is only about 50mm and is joined with copper pipe (8mm /10mm) with nuts and olives. The conceling plate size will be determined by the size (dia) of the tap spout.A thankyou is payment enough .0 -
Hi Plumb1, its the whole t assembly that I need, do you know where I can get one from? Thanks for the help so far.0

Errr, a bit of a long shot here but, how about Kohler Mira?
@ plumb1
I have! What a pain. Coil up the hose to try and get it relaxed with no kinks.I wouldn't want to go back on one fitted under a vanity with limited access.

hi Canucklehead, I have asked them and they want £135. for the 4 parts which I thought was terrible as it just looks like bits of hose, but then I'm only a woman!!0
