Cheapest place to buy bulb replacement kits for driving in Europe?

I need to buy replacement bulbs for a Toyota Corolla Verso 2005 to meet the requirements for driving in Europe. I have found a wide variety of prices but the cheaper ones tend to be "universal" kits and from what I can see these only contain some of the bulbs listed in the car manual. Do you need a full set to meet the requirements? Anyone any suggestions/experience in being stopped in Europe??
Thanks
Sandra

I've seen them in the pound shop in a clear plastic blister pack with about 6 or 7 bulbs in, otherwise I think they're about £3.99 in Wilkinsons.

I think you should be ok as long as it contains a correct headlamp bulb and the stop/tail bulbs. I can't see anyone checking the bulb kit you are carrying unless you are driving around with a lamp out. I don't know the correct legal answer though.

Best bet is buy a cheap pack like the ones mentioned above and supplement it with the other bulbs you would need to cover all types fitted to your car. Nearly all European countries require all lamps to be in working order, even during daylight hours. Failure to be in a position to replace a blown exterior bulb may result in a spot fine or not being allowed to progress until the fault is rectified.
Dont forget spare fuses (although most cars are fitted with spares inside the fusbox nowadays) and headlamp converters.

I must have got up too early. I read the thread title as a request for replacement kilts and was wondering why they were essential for European driving.
    Can I help?
