at the moment i hate ALL utility companies... they seem to be employing more and more monkeys! All read off a screen and have the initiative and intelligence of a baby goat. I think this is all down to them letting go the skilled as they cost too much...(same with some of their engineers but thats another story! lol)
But this isnt actually a moan about BT but a bit of praise and glad that i stuck with them (not that i had much choice in my small rural village!).
Over that last nasty snow fall my phone line started to crackle through the thaw and my normally fast broadband connection kept dropping.
I called BT on 150 on a Friday afternoon, got a jolly (UK based!) chap (when i got through to faults). After listening to the problem AND telling him i just had a normal phone and my HUB plugged into the master socket, he skipped the normal listed !!!!! he would read off the screen...have you unplugged and re-plugged etc... and booked me an engineer for the next morning (Saturday). Jobs a goodun!
Engineer came on Sat morning at 8.30am and worked a few hours fixing the problem completely - up the pole and at the exchange.
Totally happy! :T
So, for once.... 10 out of 10.
Im on BT option 3 Broadband (Did you know you can get away with 100GB per month download before they email you) which im happy with. Talk Talk cannot match my package. I have BT Anytime on the Phone and a Free BT vision Box. - I pay £37 roughly per quarter.
