parking for nottingham trent fm arena?

i am going to see lady gaga at nottingham trent fm arena on monday 8th march. i have nver been to nottingham before so can anyone recommend somewhere good to park? i don't mind a fair walk to the venue as long as it means i can easily get out afterwards. preferably somewhere free but i know that's probably rare in a city centre so a cheap car park would be fine.

We always park here http://www.jurysinns.com/files/pdfs/Car_Parking_at_Jurys_Inn_Nottingham.pdf when we go to the Trent Arena - its the Car Park for Jurys Inn but is very handy for Trent Arena, about a 10 minute walk but far enough out so traffic is ok. Very secure and cheap, about £4 if I remember. Just next to Train Station, across from Hooters .

That's a bit of a trek, I'd recommend somewhere like Stoney Street or Fletcher Gate car parks which is only 5 mins walk. There are places to park for free, especially in the evening, but as you're not familiar with the City you'd probably easily get lost.
