VLC Error

I keep getting this error message:
Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd://E:\'. Check the log for details:
I have tried all different Disk which work completey fine on the VLC player.
It is only this disk.
The disk is brand new.
I have thought to myself that maybe disk is broke.
I want to weigh up all the possibilities first.
Any help is kindly appreciated.

is it original disk or a copy? if a copy it might be to do with DRM, try disk on another pc0
