Getting Dentures privately?

Dad desperately needs new dentures but wait at his dentist is over a month for just an appt.

Is there any way he can go privately or get the dentures done somewhere else?
Do denture laboratories places do it?

Well yes, he can go privately - if he pays then he can get it done asap. Does he need a complete new lot or just repairs or something? Any private dentist or technician should be able to help him.

Any private dentist would I am sure do it a lot quicker than a month. Even just telling his current dentist he will pay private fees might work.

A dental lab needs a cast or whatever they call it from the dentist. They might work from the old ones if it's still the right 'prescription'

Thing is he doesnt want to change dentists permanently. Would another dentist be OK to just do this one job privately?

Paul, you've had info about this on your other thread. Your dad's dentist may be waiting for his gums to settle a bit as he only had his teeth out a few weeks ago, before the dentist makes an impression for dentures. A private dentist may well make the same clinical judgement.
