Adverse Credit

Hi Everyone,
I've been recently been rejected a mortgage and am looking for some help.
I currently have a mortgage with Abbey and have doen for the last 2 years, never missed a payment. Myself and my wife have had this house for nearly 8 years and we're looking to move into a slightly bigger property.
We have equity of £55K and the new house is £230K, our offer has been accepted. I have issues with my credit report as below:
2004 CCJ marked as unsettled and it was paid in full back in 2004 two months later. I've asked for the certificate of satisfaction which should be with us today.
T Mobile say that I'm in arrears on the reports when I'm not, I paid in full inm the first week of Jan 2010. I'm battling with them about this right now to clear that off my record.
Capital One default in 2009. I was never made aware of this default until the debt recovery people chased me and from there I paid them in full. I've sent letters of complaint to Capital One and am awaiting the comeback, I'm not hopeful that will be resolved quickly.
I've been rejected for the extra money with Abbey and have sent them a letter of appeal detailing the fact that I havent ever missed a payment with the hope of it going in my favour. I've got a good job and our combined earnings are around £50K per annum.
I've asked a whole of the market advisor to help us and he's coming back to me today with some news hopefully.
What would you do? Would you keep on at Abbey to increase the existing mortgage or would you simply take all you can with the mortgage advisor that's on the case?
Any help would be appreciated!

The mortgage man won't be able to do anything about your credit report - thats for you to sort out. CCJ - just get the court to update the credit agencies/forward your proof to exp, equi and callcredit.
If you're right with T-Mobile this should be changed on credit reports within a few days.
...and not knowing about a default sounds a bit dodgy: either you ignored the payments/requests for payments for 3- 6 months OR they defaulted you too soon. Did you miss payments? 2009 is recent even if its missed payments on a credit card.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
