Customs seized / finance reposession cars?
Hi, I am going to a car place today that has customs seized and finance reposessed cars for sale, from their website it seems that you can get a really good deal.
Just a few worries though !!!
Has anyone any experience of these type of places???
Will I get a deal???
How much do you think they will take below the asking offer??
Theres a 03 plate Renault laguna 1.6, low milage for £3250??? does this sound good???
Thanks for all your help

The problem with these kinds of vehicles is that generally (and I am sure there are exceptions) they havent been owned by people that (could afford) have them well looked after/ serviced plus with repossessed vehicles there can have been malicious damage done to them to "teach the finance company a lesson".
I did by a Ford Escort Mexico a fair number of years ago that was a repossessed vehicle - 8 months old with 4,000 miles on the clock. There were a few minor mechanical problems with it but got Ford to repair under warrenty (though i dont think I was technically covered) and it ran well for years... but there was a lot of rather ropy looking cars there. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Chirpy is correct!
You WONT find a great number of GENUINE vehicles from the sources suggested - you WILL find a range of general fleet vehicles, which you might just as well go to https://www.cargiant.co.uk as they have HUGE choice - or goto an auction yourself!!
As for Customs seized vehicles, more often than not these will be entered into public auctions anyway - & not in great numbers. Expect to find old Volvo estates with little value, which will havbe been on a booze cruise, rather than useable cars!
