My example was cost not volume, 300 metric meter units costs roughly one third of 300 imperial meter units..

Your example quoted volumetic units nowhere did you mention meter units which is where my confusion lies, it is basically an incorrect example.

I would much rather get a bill for 300 cubic M as it's about a third less than 300 cu FT.

You're very easily confused aren't you! Why can't you simply concede the fact that you are wrong.

This thread is about reading gas meters. Imperial gas meters register hundreds of cu FT. Even after linking to another thread which spelt this out in to you, you didn't grasp this simple fact did you? You are the idiot who sidetracked the thread and yet you still keep digging.

nah, there are about 9 cubic ft in a cubic metre so a bill for 300 cubic metres would be getting on for 10 times the bill for 300 cubic feet

Yes expresso I have to admit that at times I can be easily confused, as I believe we all can.

Because in this instance I believe I am correct.

Yes I agree it is, the OP had problems regarding meters being rated in cubic meters and cubic feet, I believe that your first post was inaccurate and may have confused the OP.

I am very disappointed expresso that you have take such a condescending attitude towards me and resorted to personal insults even though you know very little about me, my initial point was that I believed your post was giving inaccurate and confusing information, this is a public forum, am I not allowed to question any of the answers given by the members? The only thing I am digging for is a correct answer to a question, nothing more.

I still believe your initial post is incorrect and confusing.
