Hi can anyone please help me im new on here my dad was called today by a company called customer claims saying if he paid £49.99 they would reclaim any bank changes i tried telling him not to but he went ahead any way. Has anyone heard of this company is it a scam?

I wouldn't pay any company who claim that they can get the money back for a fee.
If they have said 6 to 8 weeks to reclaim then they are unfortunately lying.0 -

If so, perhaps you could point him in the direction of this article which will explain in detail what the company may do for £49.99 ... or which he could do himself for nothing (well it might cost the price of the odd stamp)

But it's your dad's money and he should be allowed to spend it on whatever he wants.
