and you have been paying a single payment each month etc if so then whether you signed or not doesn't matter because it was their method of selling that was wrong, this is called single premium PPI which has been banned! Yes I have been paying one single fee each month
-They didn't advise that you could buy the PPI elsewhere! (am I right?) No they didn't advise that at all
if so then again this was missold!
-Did the agreement state a cost of the loan with and without PPI? No the loan agreement just states the total monthly payment with the PPI included
(if no then again missold)
Many Thanks for the advice guys, im off to the templates section now, to start preparing my letter.
Just one quick one, anybody know which address is best to send the letter to as the local branch has now closed, should I just send it to the head office address0 -

Send it to the head office address and they should direct it to their PPI Complaints department.
Note that if you send your letter and say that the PPI was missold without giving any reasons for why you think it was missold they will reply back and say that they don't believe it was missold but if you give reasons for why you believe it was missold then they will have something to work on and will reply saying that they need time to investigate etc.
Whatever happens don't be put off by their response if they disagree!
Took me 3 letters with one lender before they agreed and in my 3rd letter i said that I was going to pursue my case with the FOS and they soon replied positively with a nice cheque! Good luck!0
