Praise for Frigidaire customer service

I bought a larder fridge online last Thursday from Currys and it was delivered on monday as arranged. the delivery guys unpacked it for me and removed the old appliance. no probs there - thanks Currys. my Oh then removed the tape holding the door shut and the lid to the top door box fell off!
I phoned Currys and they put me through to Frigidaire Parts - I explained the prob to the nice lady and she took a minute to look on computer then immediately said 'no problem, I will send you out a replacement part straight away'
I laughed to be honest I thought yeah - will see that in about a week if I'm lucky!
Well it arrived by Courier, at midday!!!! was amazed - now that is what I call service - AND it was the right part!
So can i just say (and will also email the firm) WELL DONE! :A

    Aye, frigidaire are normally wonderful.

Also, in b4 "why did they fob you off"/"you should have got a whole new one"
    Squirrel!

now now esqui lol, lets not cross bridges before we come to them!
but, I can assure everyone I wasnt fobbed off by Currys in my opinion - the appliance arrived in packaging with no visible damage - so how would Currys have known it was defective?
I didnt want a whole new one! just a new lid as it was the hinge bit which was broken.
I am perfectly happy with the service I recieved from both Currys and Frigidaire.
Would you like me to email Currys too Esqui? (not being sarcastic - but the delivery guys DID unpack most of the packaging for me and would have been happy to have put the appliance in its place in kitchen except i didnt want them to).
I can honestly say that I dont have a problem with Currys, mostly their staff are helpful and they do actually deliver on time (the only thing with this purchase was that i originally wanted it instore but it was out of stock, and expected in on the saturday and the sales guy said it was £20 for delivery. so we said we would come back then.
when i checked online it was available with FREE delivery!
but in my opinion its up to the purchaser to check these things - not the salesperson to tell you!

You can email whoever you like, it's not my place to try and get you to compliment my colleagues! There were only doing their job - but it's nice to hear of such helpful delivery guys.
