Thank you Argos! (not)

I recently had a rant about Argos on here and i want a rant again :mad: On 31st December i placed an order for a bookcase and a coffee table both half price. It said in my e-mail to wait until 26th Jan for Argos to contact me. When the new catalogue came out a had a quick look to see if my furniture had gone back up to the orginal price but it was no where to be seen in the catalogue!

I called Argos who assured me everything was fine and as i ordered before the launch of their new catalogue i would get my items.

I have had a phone call today to say my goods no longer exist! And if i wanted to cancel i would have to wait 5 days for my money back :mad: Argos were quick to take my money! I explained if they contacted me earlier i could have gone elsewhere in the sales to get my furniture. I feel better now rant over

It's for this reason I never buy anything when there's a new catalogue due out unless I can pick it up in store. I lost count of the customers who came in with the same problem just after catalogue launch.
