On what grounds are they saying the case will be struck out?
Do you agree? If not, tell them why and hope to convince them you are right and they are wrong."Now to trolling as a concept. .... It's Barclays, but the letter is from the county court:
"Before DISTRICT JUDGE BAZLEY WHITE sitting at Ipswich County Court, 8 Arcade Street, Ipswich, IP1 1EJ
Upon it appearing to the court that this claim relates to bank charges and is or may be withing the categories considered by the Supreme Court in the case of the OFT - V - Abbey National and ors [2009] UKSC6 and whereas this case was formerly stayed until the hearing of the test case in the Supreme Court
IT IS ORDERED THAT
1. The claim be further stayed generally;
2. Either party may apply to remove the stay on application to the court. Such an application may be made by way of a letter (accompanied by the appropriate court fee) and copied to the opposing party;
3. The application must state:
a. By reference to the decision of the Supreme Court the grounds upon which the application to remove the stay are based, and
b. Whether, and if so, what attempts have been made to settle the claim;
4. If no such application to remove the stay is made by 10 February 2010, the claim shall be struck out without further order.
