Been told by the bank they're not honouring but...

with these new guidelines, I'm unsure what to do. They stated int heir letter just voer a week ago that they will no longer honour the reclaim (over £4,000!) and if I don't respond to them under a week they'll class it as I've agreed!

Now it may be possible to continue with this, I really don't know what to do, it's a lot of money to msis out on and get back too.

Please help! :(

Have a re-read of the new article and see if there is anything specific you don't understand

Only you can decide whether to carry on spending time & effort in attempting to reclaim charges.

But whatever you eventually decide, remember what Martin says very near the start:
    1. How easy will claiming be?
There’s no guarantee of winning, yet for some, primarily those in hardship, there’s still a risk-free, cost-free process which could see money coming back.
The independent Financial Ombudsman Service has said it will look at certain cases (see the step by step process below), and there’s no risk in doing so. Yet even so...
"The safest thing to do is plan your finances on the fact you WON’T get a payout, but cross your fingers in the hope you will"
"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 2010

Why 1 week when they should give 8 weeks?
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
