Boiler Cover

My sister has cover with Npower, her boiler broke 5 weeks ago, and after several visits from a tech she is still without hot water or heating.
She has a 4 year old daughter who is not sleeping due to the cold.
How long can they keep this going?
Thanks for your advice

Sadly this is all too common sort of service from the so called big professional firms.
Personally I think you are better off putting their monthly payment into a seperate bank account and save it up for when your boiler may go wrong.0
