Free Album download on Tunechecker?

I managed to get the voucher and with great excitement scooted of to their site - I had promised to download Florence for my good woman. Imagine my surprise when I discovered ALL the stuff was was actually the rubbish that was cluttering up the marketing manager's hard drive!!. Tunetribe? TuneTripe more likely!!!!

Haha, typical! I did manage to get my free album when the first list of albums were available, but there were only a couple on that list that I wouldn't have minded. Seeing this new list, there are quite a few on there that I would have liked. :rotfl:

Having said that, I can understand why people are miffed at the choice now as top 40 albums were promised.

hi all, don't know if this helps, got my code, went straight to the website and decided to download the 30 seconds to mars album, i've downloaded albums before and they have only taken 5 mins at most, but for some reason it takes over an hour to dowload from this site... not good....

Well, there seem to be a few albums I wouldn't mind that are on that list, so if anybody doesn't want their code then feel free to donate it to me!

I got my code, and as with the majority here, the albums now on offer are not ones I'd particularly want. I won't be using my code, so if anyone wants it, let me know.

I got as far as checkout last week before it crashed so when I got my free code today I went back onto the site, signed in, went to checkout and there was my album (Susan Boyle, not on the list now). I entered the code I'd just been sent and it worked! I don't think I'd have bothered downloading any of the selection they've got now...

I got my free code today but there was only one album I liked. I originally wanted MJ or Pixie Lott but made do with OMD instead.

Like otheres here I've got my code only to find none of the albums I was interested in (there were four or five) are available. So for now I'll be holding back on ordering anything. Not quite sure about it being breach of contract but it doesn't exactly show Tunetribe up in a good light- they should have realised how many people get the weekly email and how popular an offer like that would be (particularly when the list of albums to be offered was so good). They shouldn't have extended the offer (beyond the original number of promised albums) if they couldn't keep the selection the same- they should have warned people before they registered. Thats where Tunetribe have been less than honest.

Not all the albums there are rubbish and/or really old but the only ones I'm interested in I've already got- unlike the original selection.

So Martin, its over to you. Don't let them get away with this. And everyone here should email Tunetribe to make it clear how unhappy you are. I look forward to the original selection being reinstated :rotfl:

i emailed tunetribe last week to ask why they changed the albums. I got a reply saying they had to change them due to so many people taking part in the offer. I emailed back saying that did not answer my question which was WHY did they HAVE to change them. Needless to say i never got a reply.
