Cousins Furniture seat GAP Rip Off

Visited Cousins in Dudley twice last week to look at an all electric recliner leather suite.
2 days later we ordered it over the phone and paid by credit card.
When the suite arrived, the delivery men noticed a gap between the seat cushions on the 3 seater and it looks odd. It comes in 2 half's and slots together, something the sales lady had not told us. They tried to correct it without success and offered me the option to accept or reject it. I rejected and they took it away.

I then rang their customer support to ask for a replacement or refund, but they said the gap is within their acceptable tolerance and they want to return it me.
There was no gap on the seat of their display model.

What are my rights, can I get a refund.

Seriously now, though - these people can probably sort you out.

    HTH :)

You and your fellow idiots need to get out more and eventually you will find there is more to life than hiding behind a user name and making not very funny and unintelligent remarks. I imagine your disability's stretch to more than the mind. Are you wheel chair bound or bed ridden... You need to seek help. Try these links...

Hope this helps, after all that's what good forum members are for. :)

gap or no gap, are they allowed to give a discount instead of "interest free credit"?

If they give a discount for cash then it's not interest free, but of course there's no such thing as interest free, is there?

I agree, there is no such thing as interest free. They contacted me to say, this week they are offering 5% off and 12 months interest free. This is on condition that I purchase another suit of the same value or more. They will then refund my credit card less 20% for the deposit. I will have too wait 3 months for delivery from China, but they will loan me a suite while I wait. Looks like my best option.

    This is my last reply.
If you compare the photos there is an obvious difference in the gap between the right and left hand seats, by the simple fact there is no gap in the right hand seat.

I'm not fussy, I just wont stand for any crap.

Your sofa is the same as mine apart form mine is black not brown, and it all depends on how you purchased it to be honest,

Sine you never accepted it the first time you should of contact the bank and disputed the money paid for it and on your creidt card your entilted to a refund, what i would of done, do not accpet anything until you are happy

and yes ignore the guy who said your fussy, he is a troll just comes here to rant rave and start trouble,
