Travel Insurance for Air Miles

Does anyone know which travel insurance companies will cover flights booked with air miles? I have received advice that if I need to claim because of cancellation and the insurance company refuses to pay I should appeal to the Insurance Ombudsman.
However I would sooner insure with a comapny which is known to pay out. I assume the insurance from Air Miles Travel Co covers them - but are there any others

There's the same problem if you book with Tesco Clubcard vouchers. Tesco Insurance claims to cover it in their insurance policies but I would be interested to hear if anyone has managed to claim off them.0

Have a look at Martin's artilce (link at the top): the recommendation for annual european family cover, travel insurance web, say in their t&c's that they cover 'air miles and similar vouchers' and they confirmed for me this includes tesco vouchers

After further research, I have received an email response from InsureandGo to the folowing question:
"If I need to cancel the holiday will you reimburse either the air miles or the cash equivalent"
Reply:
"it doesn't matter what type of payment you
used to pay for your holiday as our policy would cover this."0
