SKY HD Box keeps freezing when fast forwarding

This is so annoying. Frequently now say 2-3 times a day our box keeps freezing or turning off when fast forwarding the adverts. Each time it comes back to life ok but we then lose whatever we were recording at the time. Any ideas guys? Now the box is over a year old so what are my chances of a free replacement? Will threatening to cancel make any difference?

Let me know what happens if you speak to them. Mine does the same, but only once a week or so. Bloody annoying when you miss half the programme you were recording. It also does it occasionally if you rewind a live programme whilst recording another.

Try a planner rebuild . it's basically like defragging your computer ..
