Free Walking pack (pedometer)
Comments

On checking everyone in Scotland gets free prescriptions next year, but it was announced in 2007, which made me think it had already been implemented.
University tuition fees were introduced in England and Wales in 1997. The Scottish government opposed them and they weren't introduced there, while the costs in England and Wales is now 7 times what it was in 1997. The only Scottish people who've ever paid tuition fees are those studying at non-Scottish universities. Or maybe you think Scottish students don't get free university education because the government don't give them free student accommodation or something.
I don't want you to take this the wrong way but have you got something against us Scots?0 -
Got the "Sorry there is a problem" message on the website.
Phoned up Central Office and left a message for them to send a pack.If it's not a bargain, it's not worth buying0 -

No the other person originally posted that it's unfair that it isn't available in Scotland as there's never anything free in Scotland. I was pointing out that there's things for free in Scotland that aren't available in England that are worth a lot more than a pedometer worth a couple of pounds.
Incidentally I appiled for this ages ago and haven't received one.0 -

 Cheers to the OP!
And just to let the rest of you know, the site seems to be working fine today. I've filled in the form without a problem. I'm wondering if you had misread the part that says "Due to huge demand, we temporarily need to suspend immediate distribution of our Get Walking Packs while we deal with existing requests"?
Anyway, hope this helps!

I went to university in 1998 and I had to pay tuition fees for the first three years. After the fees were abolished students still had to pay a graduation fee (basically a delayed form of tuition fees) I am a Scottish student and I studied at Scottish universities so I now that university tuition is not free in Scotland, just cheaper.0 -
