Hi
Had a printer connection problem that was traced to the fact that my user account had been corrupted. Have had to set up a new user account, but cannot access documents and emails without switching back to the old one.
Is there an easy wasy to move the docs and emails that I want over to the new one?
TIA

It is my general Vista User account that I sign onto windows with.
I have had to set up a new one so that I can print things as there is a problem with the old one, which is preventing my laptop communicating with the printer.
I have no idea why this is so, but I had a major internet problem back in November. Things haven't really been the same since despite running Malware Byte and Hijack this.I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

If you can take ownership of your old user account folder (usually C:\Users\<username>) you should have access to everything within. Are you using Windows Mail?0

Another way of doing this would be to log in to your old account, copy the mail store to somewhere else and import it into your new account from there.
Mail store location:C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail
Contacts location:C:\Users\<username>\Contacts

If I delete my original username, will I lose all the documents and downloads?I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.
