Paying over the counter question

I paid some money over the counter in my local HSBC branch at about 3.30ish today and I said I didn't need a receipt as I never get one.

When I looked in my bank just now the money hasn't come into my bank account and it usually goes in instantly.

Does anyone know why?

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks

Sam

Did you fill in a paying in slip. The stub will have been stamped by the cashier.
If it was 3.30ish it probably wont show until tomorrow.
Stop worrying, and in future, make sure the stub is stamped and get a receipt.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

I always get asked if I want a receipt.

If you have online banking then check until the following morning. If no joy then go back into your branch tomorrow morning.

If you cash in a cheque and cash, it is all done together and will show the next day.

    Just cash, shows immediately.

    Just cheque, shows next day.
