  • I've had my GHD's for about 3-4 years now, and no problems at all. Have used cheaper brands in the past, but would never use anything else now :)

I had mine for 3 years, they fused and would have fixed them for 34.00 with a further warranty of 6 months only.
Instead i bought some from boots special half price offer for 40.00 with a guarantee of 3yrs,they are just as good!(remington)

As always with ebay, be aware of fakes. A £5 pair of straightners, print GHD on it, sell em for £80. You get the picture. As always, buyer beware.

Yeah there is no point buying them from fleabay. Buy them from a well known retailer(HQ hair or local hairdresser) because then you have the guarantee that if they do go wrong then ghd will replace them with no questions asked. If you buy a fake one off ebay then it goes faulty that will be £80 down the drain and ghd will obviously not replace it!

my wife has a set and the only problem she's had with them is when she stood on the plug and snapped the earth pin.
  • i have the remington ones too (pro 230) and i think they are better than the ghd ones. probably because they heat up to 230 degrees. i think the ghd ones are 215 degrees.
