in Credit cards
Is anyone else sick with them repeating 'We review your account on a regular basis''. I phoned them as I've had a card for nearly a year now and it's stuck at £200. I asked them what's the point of having a card with £200 credit limit and a huge APR.
They repeated they couldn't do anything and my account will be reviewed on a regular basis.
They're rubbish.

I don't get why Capitalone are still giving the same 'script' about this. Last year they sent out a leaflet with new conditions on it which said from 1st November 2009 customers will now be able to request a credit limit increase, yet when you do request it they still come out with the same old guff about reviewing accounts regularly & they can't just give an increase etc.

Just found it, leaflet is called 'Important changes to your Capitalone agreement'.
The following changes to your terms & conditions will take effect from 1st November 2009 -
Clause 19 will be ammended to read as follows -
19. Variation : We may from time to time change your credit limit. You may request us at any time to consider an increase or decrease to your credit limit.
Yet for some reason thier staff seem oblivious to thier own conditions & still tell you that you can't request an increase.
!!!!!! really. ??0 -
Seems like they are playing a Vanquis and just lying outright about it to coax customers in...
