Chrome problem

Possibly the second Google Chrome problem in one day.

The 'clear browsing data' option has suddenly disappeared from the wrench (tools) menu.

You have to go through two more clicks to get to it.

Unbelievable.

Why would this happen? Does Chrome update automatically and invisibly, because I've never seen any updates arriving. I can only think it must, and this problem is a wonderful feature of the latest change, because to my knowledge I have done nothing to provoke this.

I have seen it there but not checked it out.

Would this enable me to have a one-click history deletion situation back, then?
  • Install Click&Clean 3.6.5.0 extension:
    - clear browsing history with 1-click or automatically when Chrome closes
    - close all tabs/windows before clearing ( + without last active tab)
    - remove Flash LSO, local web databases HTML5
and very useful option "Prevent deletion of extensions preferences" fixed Cromium issue [code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=33850]
Works with Chrome 4 on Windows
