ipod nano on windows media

Hi Ive just downloaded bbciplayer desktop to watch tv programmes again on 5th gen nano but my nano is not reconized on windows media as that is the only format bbciplayer uses I have been using itunes to download books ect from amazon and audible but this has me puzzled. Does this mean the nano cant get iplayer? Any help gratefully accepted

Sorry to say you can't watch iPlayer programs on an iPod nano, at least not in a straight-forward way.
There are some ways of getting the content, but it can get a bit technical. Google "bbc iplayer on ipod nano" and you'll get a bit of info, but it's really more hassle than it's worth.0 -

Thanks thats really helpful I started to download it but my security gave me a warning that it was from an unpublished site I got a bit scared and cancelled my last computer got a virus sent to it.
