Im a .26 or .56 man myself....lol. That beats the .01's etc.
The folk you have to chortle about are the ones that bid £250 and get beaten at the end by a penny.
Never ever bid round amounts!!

Just remember, whenever you bid (and I agree that as near to the end of the auction as possible is best) that it's the HIGHEST bid that wins, not the latest. This may have been entered as a Maximum Bid earlier in the auction, but it will not go up to that maximum unless it's needed.
Good luck!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
I'm a .21 girl myself and if I really want something, I set the countdown timer on my mobile phone and bid in the last 10 seconds.Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0

I've registered for auctionstealer but am a little worried using it for the first time on this item that I really want (just in case I mess it up somehow).
I think I'll look for something around the 99p mark so I can have a trial run!!0 -
I won! Beginners luck - got it for £205.00 (I did bid the odd pennies 68 of them to be exact but didnt need them).
Thanks everyone for your advice.0
