looking for cheap flight to queensland,oz

Hi there was in oz 2003 on holidays and also for a year in 2004 but went to melbourne as this was 2004 prices may have went up a little on flights,what i need to ask is,when i did book my flights in 2004 i searched a lot and found a flight that was not matched better in price than other websites so i booked and this was well before flying,i want to do the same again but i cant remember what the site was.
Problem i have now is im not going to melbourne airport now, is this maybe a little less expensive than other airports around oz are are the much the same in price,i will be flying from aberdeen and going to brisbane and wanted to know some good well know sites that are good on prices,i just wished i knew what the last one i used and nobody came near them.

I would be greatfull if i could be given some sites to try and what people on here have used most etc.

opodo and airmiles.co.uk were the most competitive for my flights to Perth. £400 cheaper than all the rest. good luck
