Problems with Oasis Delivery Order - Would love some advice?

Hi all,
Firstly thanks for taking the time to read this!
I ordered some lovely items from Oasis before Xmas when the sale started. Sadly I missed the delivery and because of Xmas/NYE didn't get my items until the 2nd week of January. To my dismay, one item wasn't included (£20 skirt) and was still on the invoice and delivery sheet and I've most definitely been charged for it. I spent nearly a week trying to get through to the customer services centre, finally getting through and although the lady was very pleasant and assured me they would contact 'the warehouse' I've still not heard anything back and I'm trying to call up the customer services centre but I'm constantly on hold throughout my dinner break and I can't really afford the phone bills!
I was just wondering if this situation had happened to anyone else and what happened and the outcome? I feel really as if it's only my word saying I didn't receive an item as I have no proof but obviously £20 is a lot to lose so am definitely going to follow this through.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Btw I have ordered from Oasis many times online and it's always been bang on and I do love their clothes. Just unlucky this time!
Thanks again,
Fi x

Have you tried emailing or writing?0

Deffinatly Email your complaint, explain the problem and your concerns. Maybe explain when your lunch times are and invite them to call you? Deffinatly moan about the cost of the calls and times, and ask if there is anyway of compensating the cost of these calls?
When I worked in complaints, I always felt more helpful towards the polite friendly Emails.Learning to be 'good with money'0 -
Just to update for anyone that is in the same boat as me.
I took the advice and e-mailed them late last week to follow up the complaint and this afternoon I have received an apologetic e-mail and offer of refund or replacement garments so RESULT! phewwww. it took a while but I'm very relieved that I can get my money back. :j
Thanks to all that read and commented on my palava! Hope it doesn't happen to anyone else but in case it does, try the e-mail route - less stressful than waiting on hold for hours! :cool:0
