can anyone help me. I need to hire a 7 seater (minimum) vehicle as cheaply as possible for the Easter 2010 weekend to travel to a family wedding. Can anyone recommend a good bargain or point me in the direction of a community bus that loans out - I have a full driving licence (clean as well) held for 20+ years.

I live in the Carmarthen area and have used Practical Car rental in the past for van hire, I assume their minibuses are okay. There's also a branch in Fishguard but as another thread says they're a Franchise operation so no guarantee that all branches are good. Other Suggestion would be Days Rental in Haverfordwest.

I've also had good service from Enterprise Car Rental, again in Carmarthen but only for cars, although they did upgrade me to a Chrysler Voyager which might be big enough for you ? They also do a pick-up service, but I'm not sure how far they will travel.

Only other place near you (I assume you're Cardigan way ?) is National Car Rental who appear to have a branch in Aberystwyth.

Apart from the above there only appear to be companies that will hire you a minibus with a driver and these are quite expensive.

I'm currently drive for a minibus sharing scheme in Pembrokeshire but you need to attend one of their driver courses before they will let you hire a bus and it's generally for voluntary organizations only. PM Me if you need info on the scheme.
