Glad to hear you're ok - hope it hasn't put you off the decluttering? Wouldn't blame you if it had tho!

Just a quickie to say how much I admire you for what you are doing. My DD is 14 and is just starting to help out but as litle as she may do, I appreciate it as I work full time. Try and get Dad and siblings on board and give mum a break.
LOL

nope, not put off decluttering - got back to sweeping to take my mind off the pain after I'd done it! Took a break the last two days to see le bf, and I'm going to throw myself into it today again! Got home though to find that mum had been using my stardrops for everything - the cheek!!! :rotfl:Returning MoneySaver, now furiously saving for a house deposit...0

Can i just say what a lovely thing to do for your mum :A
It has also inspired me to blitz my house on my week off. the kids are off too so can help and at the end of the week we will do a car boot and use the money for holiday spends.
I only have 4 kids and our house is treated the same as yours so I know how your mum feels, and how happy she will be at you doing this for her.em x
Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
What a nice daughter! When you've got that all sorted, perhaps you should think about having a box at both ends of the stairs, so anyone going up brings stuff upstairs and vice versa? You can buy stair baskets, but they can cost a bomb (although Matalan and Wilkinson's do them for about a fiver). Might help to keep it tidy in future.0
