I decided to do a complete new dvd backup on my computer instead of just topping up which has never caused a problem. However, after filling two discs the above message appeared. I reformatted the discs and tried again with the same response. Has anyone any suggestions as to how I can rectify this problem. Please do not be too technical as it wont mean anything to me.
Thanks.
Thanks.

What antivirus are you using?0 -
Fiddiwebb - Microsoft Security Essentials protects my computer.
Busenbust - I don't understand what you mean. If you are asking if I am using clean discs - yes I am.0 -
I was trying to clarify that was all; could you try a different subset of discs: DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM, DVD+R, DVD+RW.scruffyone wrote: »Fiddiwebb - Microsoft Security Essentials protects my computer.

Try disabling MSE before backing up and see if that makes any difference or anything else that may interfere whilst backing up.0 -
Thanks, fiddiwebb. I can't see how to disable MSE, I did think of this - can you help on this. Also would it leave my computer vulnerable while it was disabled?0

Hi scruffyone
Not sure as I don't have MSE but try Settings, real time protection and uncheck it.
Just remember to turn it back on when you have finished.
If you are not on the internet when you disable MSE then you should be okay.0
