hey
i moved into my flat about 10months ago its a new build and since then I have never recieved an electricity bill, i thought I would maybe have had to register with a company or have recieved something in the post to do so but this has not happened.
Should my landlord have set this up for me?
I have mentioned it to him a few times but he hasnt got back to me and im now a bit worried that I will eventually recieve a huge bill, I think my supplier is Scottish Power but im scared to call incase they hit me with a huge bill
Im sure i read on the forums before that after a year of no bills you cannot be charged is this true?
I've taken a note of my meter readings every 3months since i moved in, I also don't wana mention it to my landlord now he might think i've been stupid leaving it till now to remind him again so is their any way to find out who your supplier is
any help would be appreciated guys

Hi,
the longer you let it go, the bigger the bill, get it sorted now before you end in a right mess, no point sticking it out for the year hoping you won't be billed, you used it so you have to pay for it.
Have a look at the meter it should say who the meter belongs to, or ask a neighbour, as it's new build I should think it was the same supplier initially, though some may have changed.
