This may not be OS and may well get moved, but in delicious mag today, there was an offer for £119 of knives (3 knives) for 99p (plus P&P of £7.99)

Just thought I would share in case anyone was thinking of new knives, at this price, even if they aren't so great, its the cost of one decent knife in Mr T!

Once you fill in the form, you have 4 or five "do you want this at this price" click no! I read terms and conditions and there is no "you have to buy this many knives each month" etc, it seems to be a fair deal to me, I can never have too many knives!

Sorry if its not in the right place, feel free to move it, just wanted to share the deal if anyone needed or wanted.

  • looks like they might be a bit of a cowboy outfit judging by the reviews on review centre.. a lot of people unhappy, couple ecstatic IKYWIM...

ive got a set of AWT knives (got as a gift) and they are rubbish.. i would swear that they are made at the same place as the shonky global knives i was offered a couple of years ago as they are almost exactly the same.. so you dont always get good knife when you spend the money anyway, hopefully they will be great and if not at least its not too much money to lose!!

We got those knives a few years ago. They're ok, but I prefer my Global knife.
  • I have a set of these - I think I've had them for eighteen months or so. They're perfectly fine knives, can't be compared to the really good brands but absolutely ok for everyday. I don't recall that we had any problems when we ordered from them. I have some of their pans too and again they're ok - I don't think they'll last forever but they're fine for now, and I'm not so bothered if they get a bit battered.
