Jean Patrique - third party junk mail

I ordered some cheap knives from Jean Patrique as recommended in the MSE weekly newsletter. I had never ordered anything else to the address used so know it was JP who passed on my details. I always tick the boxes for my details not to be passed on anywhere.
Since then I've received an envelope full of junk mail from multiple companies including Jean Patrique, Vigram viagra, Stauer watches, Aviva, Prostate problems and so on. This is a problem for me as it's my work address and I don't want junk mail coming on a regular basis.
The return address is PO Box 153, Faversham, Kent, ME13 8JS (which is 15 mins away from JP's address).
I rang Jean Patrique and they told me that they couldn't remove me from the mailing lists and I needed to contact all the companies in the mailing individually to be removed.
Has anyone received this junk mail and did they find a way to get it stopped?
In the meantime I'd advise everyone to avoid ordering anything from Jean Patrique knives as they pass your details on without permission and have no interest in getting it stopped.

I am tired of asking companies to take me off their junk mail list. I stick all my junk mail back in their reply envelopes and post it back.
Just wish there was a way to do something similar with spam e mails."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Hi - I have never dealt with Jean Patrique, but have suddenly received the same load of junk mail from that PO Box and post code. I am already on the mail preference service.
I cannot find out the name of the company distributing this trash - will try again. Can't use the "return" method, as there is no envelope included, but might reseal and return to sender with a note to take me off their list.0 -
Don't pay the postage, they will soon get the message, if they bother to pick it up.
Look on the bright side, its more work for the postie and for the recycling people.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -

I bought a set of knives more than a year ago on behalf of a friend to give as a Christmas present to his mum. Then the phone calls, continual spam and a daily phishing email started. They tailed off, but having just received a new 'offer' from Jean Patrique, the mails have started again. This company sell your details in what must be minutes after your purchase. The spam always states 'you are receiving this mail because you opted to receive offers from selected third parties'. They don't actually give you this option to select or not.
The knives were nice to look at, but not actually good knives, and as the cost of them was so low it can only be surmised that the real profit is in peddling mailing lists at a record rate.
