Left mouse button on laptop starting to come out

Hi,

I have got an acer aspire laptop but the left plasic mouse button is starting to come out. Is this something that can be bought and replaced easily or would I have to take it to a shop?

Thanks

Barrie

  • Easily replaced? No.

the mouse buttons are generally part of the upper part of the lower case plastics. The piece will probably not come out totally, as it is too large for the hole left, but it will have broken loose from the moorings that usually hold it in place.

Replacement usually means a lengthy strip down of the laptop.

Why not just buy a USB mouse?
  • I think I will have to. I'm just so used to a laptop mouse. Not to worry. Thanks all.
