eBay Seller - How to donate to charity?

Options
Hi, I'd like to donate a cut of my profits to charity, but the only way to do this on eBay is to donate a cut of the total sale price (and my profits are quite small, so I can't do that!).
Are there other ways of doing this on eBay other than MissionFish, or just generally?

I like human rights charities btw :).

sorry I dont know much about ebay but you can make payments to all sorts of charities on line by going to https://www.justgiving.com they will also claim back the tax relief of you are a tax payer and pay the charity direct so basically they do it all for you. I am not sure if you could make a payment from PAYPAL directly though nor do I know if they have human rights charities but it is worth a look though. All the best and good luck :)

  • I found the eBay for Charities board on eBay Communities and created a post about this, here.
And I've decided either to give a monthly donation to my chosen charity, or hold a monthly auction having spent the money raised for charity on some stock that'll make a profit so the charity gets even more (plus that'll let me hold charity auctions :) ).

Just got to contact Amnesty International and get registered as a Direct Donater, bought a pile of stock today (very cheap too :) ) though so things are on track :)

    Thanks

I often list items on as MDCC...which is a monthly auction starting on the last sunday of the month. Then donate the money to my chosen charity. The round table board start this each month and any one can join in, but you have to paste and copy the start of the auction explaining what it is all about.
If you type in MDCC on the last sunday of the month there will be listings explaining exactlly what it is about like so:
""""This listing is part of the Monthly Daft Charity Coalition
Once each month sellers aim to have fun whilst raising money for charities and good causes of their choice

MDCC runs for 7 days starting on the last Sunday of each month (excluding December) and sellers are invited to list up to 5 auctions to raise money for their favourite charity or good cause.""""

    Hope this helps.
