Help, recently took out the new amazon mastercard that is advertised on thier website.
When paying it through my bank online, i paid what i thought was Amazon Mastercard, when it should have been Bank of america.
Have now settled the bill with them but can't work out how to get my wrong payment back.
TSB have said it's not thier problem..
Amzon Mastercard does not seem to exsit, or i can't find a contact number.
Is my money lost in a bottomless hole...

Who did you pay? Perhaps you should contact them? Was it on a pre-defined list of credit card companies and you selected the wrong one from the drop down list when paying from your onlie banking?Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Sounds to me like the Amazon Mastercard you paid by mistake is probably the "old" Amazon Mastercard, which was withdrawn last summer. It was operated by Halifax, so it may be them who have got your money!
Here's their address:
Halifax Card Services,
Customer Services,
Pitreavie Business Park,
Dunfermline,
KY99 4BS
But, if you made your mistake by choosing "Amazon Mastercard" from a list on TSB's online banking site, then if I were you I would have a right moan at TSB for not updating their website.
n.b. Regarding the new Bank of America Amazon card, here's something to watch out for: their statements are double-sided. It appears, at a glance, that the total at the bottom on the front of the statement is the total to be paid. BEWARE! It may simply be the total carried over to the back, where there is more!Je suis Charlie.0 -
tHANKS FOR THE ADVICE, QESTIONED IT WITH TSB AND THEY ADMITTED IT WAS THEIR FAULT.
MONEY HAS NOW BEEN CREDITED BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT.0
