  • I just miss home a lot more than I expected. I'm away at uni but done it to be closer to my boyfriend of a long time. I have a little sister and I miss her more than anything in the whole world. The love I feel for her is sometimes unreal she's like, the greatest part of my life and everytime I say her name I have to stop myself from crying. I'd just like to move home with my boyfriend but apparently jobs dont justcome up :(

oh, I am so sorry about that. I can just imagine how I would be if I was away from my dd for just a night. I don't really know what to say to try to make you feel better. Will be thinking of you :A

    I've been Money Tipped!
My frizz ease shampoo and conditioner have got one, maybe two washes left in them. First time I've used it, nothing to rave about. I personally think that it doesn't tame my hair it in fact makes it more fly away and I usually use 1 bottle to shampoo to 2 bottles of conditioner but doesn't seem to be the case with this....in which case I'm going to end up with a bottle of conditioner spare! I've got another premium brand (Trevor Sorbie I think) to try in my stash next which was bought with boots hair vouchers in Nov/Dec, so no excuses to buy any more just yet.
    :

I find frizz ease shampoo and conditioner not good too. I feel sorry for people who persevere with i bottle after bottle, thinking their hair is the problem....

it is clinique bonus time at Debs

Ooo thanks for that rosemary54. If you genuinely need the stuff then its ok right? I have not tried their concealer pen but I bought the Aldi one today (about £3) and its really good! I dont have any of those sorts of pens (just a thick sludgy concealer for spots). So just the one in use! I need the Clinique eye make up remover (lips eyes or something its called) and I need their Superbalanced foundation. Especially as I have discovered I have SO many bad colour foundations! (See below).

    Used up today:
    - Little black dress perfume - EDT - ok. Doesnt last though.

I am now finding that I'm getting picky with some stuff. I had at the start of this about 11 foundations.... I'm down to about half that and truthfully I think there are 2 which are the right colour!!!

Have decided that the James Brown intensive conditioner is OK. I only washed my hair with that and didnt put any any other products on and its wasnt spectacular. Lucky I didnt buy 3for2 the other day then!

I have a copy of Beauty Bible beauty steals at the moment (from the library very :money:) Will see what they recommend for a decent hair conditioner. :A

advance warning I am going to be bad next week:eek::eek::eek::eek:

it is clinique bonus time at Debs and I need(honestly )a new concealer pen so am going to buy that plus some skincare so I get the free goody bag which has amongst other things a mascara and I really like their mascara.

very sorry but in my defence I am going to pay with a gift card so no actual money will change hands:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just a teensy meek little thought in the face of your very assertive post!

Do you 'need' the skincare stuff? Might it be cheaper just to buy the concealer and a new mascara? Might you be able to save a bit on the gift card then?

    NO? OK! No problem! ;)

Has anyone used this as an alternative to ebay? Fixed price selling, not an auction site.

I'm going to try it too, but not going to put too much stuff on in case there's not much traffic on the site, don't want to waste lots of time listing stuff! People can search by area too, so it might be good for books actually as you may get people collecting in person.

my mum swears by it and has been using it on an off for years. It's alright but for the price I'm not so sure, I've used cheaper brands which seem to have been better. What do you use for curly hair?

After years and years of spending lots, I'm spending less than ever. WHEN I shampoo, which is far less often I have been using Tigi (either oatmeal and honey, the curls one that isn't foxy curls..can't remember its name..perhaps its been discontinued?) but I am increasingly of the opinion shampoo matter less than I thought.

I can't do no shampoo, but I do low shampoo, and lots of conditioner only washes. I neever would have believed I'd say this but I've shampooed my hair only twice or three times so far this year. In between I conditioner only...doing a hair test to determine what conditioner to use....and if it doesn't need anything special I just use an inexpensive conditioner. :) . If I'm wearing hair up in anyway (I often do) I just leave an ordinary conditioner in...not a leave in one, a normal one. Other wise I use mainly frizz ease serum and tigi curls rock. I have an ialian product not available in UK that I use occasionally for a looser curl (sometimes with aveda be curly, which alone is not strong enough to tame my hair).

I've always hd loads of hair compliments (a man once paid me money never to cut it:D) but what I'm finding is I have fewer and fewer bad hair days..Its taken me thirty years but I'm finally learning what my hair needs!
  • I keep hearing more and more about this conditioning only method, what worries me though is that without a diffusing my hair with hair dryer and using products I get a big afro mess, not curls just well a birds nest is the best way to describe it. My hair is naturally curly, its very very thick and there is lots of it, if I put mousse and serum in it and let it dry naturally I get curls but no volume, it kinda hangs lank.

Will the conditioner was out hair products like mousse etc?
Whats your hair like? is it the same as mine?
