Please Help

Just recieved a phone call to my mobile from a Company called Customer Claims LTD saying that they claim back any PPI's people have paid and will refund 100%.
They would send me some forms and then they do all the work.
Thy gave me a Registration number for Companies House and said that they work alongside the big seven banks.

They then asked for my card number and expiry date (only) to take a £49 admin charge and said they would give me a secure number straight from my bank.

I checked that they are registered, which they are but I know that any old bogus LTD can register so this proves nothing.
Obviously i have not gien any details and was wondering if anyone has had the same call or had ever heard of these or even delat with them?

If you have PPI that you can reclaim for misselling or have reasons to believe you were missold then I would always try to do it yourself with help from this site.

My advice would be never to use any claims company like the one you have been approached by.

I would'nt know where to start.

Pretty sure I had one from Carcraft maybe 6 years ago.
Is Mortgage protection classed as a PPI?
Sure I had one from a Loan with Barclays around 10 /11 years ago.

    Is there a time limit?
How do I find out for sure if I had one?

Pretty clueless to all this to be honst.

    Thanks for the response.

If you had PPI and believe it to be missold to you for any reasons then its quite simple to claim back IF you have valid reasons. Where you ask about the mortgage protection one, did you not want to protect your mortgage payments? The only ones that really and truely reclaiming "sometimes" is valid on are ones that were added as lump sum single premiums.

With regards to your others its best to take a look back over the agreements and really only you will know if you did not want the PPI or not. The guide is also useful for deciding too.:)
