Not just the level of customer service, but the negligent manner in which they have gone about their work. It has resulted in your case coming close to failure rather than running smoothly. Even though your circumstances have changed, you have tried to play ball with your company who SHOULD be in a position to make arrangements to help the running of your agreement. (A payment holiday for a few months, lowering your payments by 15% temporarily, agreeing more permanent payment terms at a creditors meeting...)

Do you have copies or notes of the discussions you have had with this company? Dates?
Did you ask who their regulatory body is because you'd like to make a complaint? Point out that thier negligence is causing your IVA to fail when it could otherwise be saved!

I wouldn't continue to borrow money from friends and family, miss a payment or two if you have to, get this sorted (usually an IP only has a duty to fail an IVA after three missed payments. In the longer term you need to find a new flatmate to split the bills with and in the meantime you'll need to get your IP to listen to your problems!

    (Who is the company? IP)
Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?
