Just booked our first family holiday alone to Butlins on the 29th September at skegness.
Was wondering if anybody has used the nursery and if so what the prices are like?
Was planning a quite night out with the wife one night or putting our twins in for an hour or so while we go to the swimming with our eldest.
Was wondering if anybody has any idea what the standard or prices are like? Hopfully rather cheap lol.
Also we're planning on going half board but have booked a private caravan through a private sellar. Do you know if you can still purchase half board meals and roughly what the price's are? Have tried phoning but not getting anywhere on the phone just ringing and ringing.
Thanks very much,.

I don't remember the nursery being open at night, day rates were quite resonable, cant remember exactly but no more than a creche in a mall. The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0

You can still purchase the meals in the "restaurants" given the quality though you might be better making your own.The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0 -
I think the only way you can purchase half board is to eat at the Yacht club.
The food in there is much better than in the standard dining rooms anyway. Its pretty expensive though - about £12 for evening meal ( can't remember the breakfast price). I upgraded to the yacht club last time i went to minehead because the standard dining there was truly awful ( its a lot worse than at skegness). They had a cheap upgrade offer ( it was £6 per day but buy-one-get-one free). They were almost out of food on sunday though because so many people had paid to go in for the sunday lunch.
Its cheaper to just eat in the other food outlets as and when you want. The Sun and moon pub does pretty good meals . Then there is burger king and the fishand chip place ( used to be harry ramsdens ) for cheaper meals. There are other restaurants too .0 -
Well if the nursery is anything like the bognor or minehead one then the rates are pretty reasonable and the attendants are fantastic!!
I had to drag DS out kicking and screaming cos he didn't want to leave them!!I live in my own little world, but it's ok as everyone knows me here

Think i'll probably just eat out all week rather than paying for half board but will get a price to see
.
I got told when i phone it depends when you go on the price's so hopfully it'll be cheap but i doubt it lol.
Do you know roughly what the rates were?
We have 3 children we'd be putting in one day and 2 to put in another so hopfully very cheap lol.
