:j Well finally ive had a offer accepted on a house and things have started to roll along. Its good to finally have things back on track after the problems i had trying to find somewhere and then my experience with a particular EA i posted about.
I used a lot of advice form the forum and its saved a lot of hassle and money. Firstly i used an independent broker (L & J) and it was a breath of fresh air to have things explained simply to me and i always felt in control of my decisions. Just to check i did have a good mortgage offer i also consulted another independent advisor. They were so honest- they checked my mortgage offer details and said it was a good offer in thier opinion-they did do a search and found another but with higher fee's so i wouldnt be making any savings. I thought how nice of them to be so honest even if it meant losing a possible new customer! They were charcol online btw. Then lastly i went into 2 high street ones and well i didnt find anything better.
Taking more advice from this forum i found a good solicitor. I'll also opt for a homebuyers report for peace of mind.
Hopefully things will progress smoothly and if not i can always come here for advice.

Fingers crossed all goes smoothly for you.
You've done really well to have sorted out a good deal on your mortgage & to have come into contact with such honesty when shopping around just to be sure it was the best deal available for you.
We'll all be waiting for the housewarming invite,so be sure to let us know when it's likely to be.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
