camping site near cartmel races for family

looking for suggestions of good camping sites within proximity of cartmel races for august bank holiday. i think i may have left it a tad late as a couple i have contacted are booked up.all tips /suggestions welcomed. regards,

Haven have a site called lakelands about 5 minutes away... may be worth a try as they have large caravan and camping area.. look on yell.com for the tel number and call the site direct.. tell them you do not require the fun passes as they cost extra and they always include them in the price.
