Morning all, added another €3 last night, so I am catching up still, but now only 2 days behind. And...I should be able to put that in tonight :)

    Have a great day all.

    Thanks for the welcome.

Anyone know of nice, easy and painless (if there is such a thing) way of cutting debt? Been trying to reduce it for over 2 years now, there is no doubt that I have made progress am down from c£19,000 to £8,500 but this seems to be taking forever and has taken over my life!

I have opted to set myself a target of being debt free by end of 2011, a bit ambitious considering I want to have some savings as well but I feel if I don't push myself and clear this I will never be able to clear it! Any thoughts on whether I should scale back and be a little less ambitious and more realistic?

    Thanks for your help

Hey you are doing really well. Have a good look around the DFW forum, up your income forum and old style forum as thats where you will find all the people who are living and breathing the DFW lifestyle. There is lots you can do that become a way of life rather than a chore to help you get debt free and save! :T

    Hi KPR11!

Have you completed an SOA yet? If not, do so and then post it on the DFW board. Lots of people will be able to point out where savings can be made etc. It will also give you a chance to assess whether you can increase your monthly budget for a few things etc.

The snowball calculator is also fabulous!

And ebay stuff you don't need/use/want etc.

I also do the Payment a Day challenge and I find this really helps to keep me motivated and makes a big difference! We're a friendly bunch too.

And don't forget how well you've done already! You cleared 10k in 2 years! That's fantastic! :)
