Meeting wasn't too bad; the fall-out now has two possible outcomes, Very very GOOD for me, job, money and well-being-wise, which seems more likely, OR - complete hoodwinking of relevant people ('tis a very long and complex story) by the two who are in the wrong, trying to "rush through" their own individual power-plots in a forthcoming short window whilst they feel that I and other, similarly-"harmful to their purposes due to our professional integrity and efficiency which shows up the two of them as the tunnel-visioned numpties they are" colleagues, are unprotected between outgoing and incoming line management. Hell's teeth, I thought I'd escaped from all such childish actions when I left my last job! Hey-ho...
I have a regular weekly counselling appointment (for something fairly appalling that you really don't want to know about) every Wednesday, and my lovely counsellor allowed me to depart from the main issue about which we meet and sound off about work instead. It really helped me to feel lots better.:):)
SO. With positivity-levels renewed, Jasper sleeping and in good health, the washing-up done, and the rain lashing down outside, who fancies joining me for a little "Wednesday Whizz"?I'll pour... Anyone got any ice?
Wonder if it's raining where GeeBee is?
Thanks again for your support guys; it means a lot.
Glad it went better than you thought Roo lol x

On the rocks, with my compliments, then! xx
Here's a l'il party tip from the Jazz-man: If you're having mixed drinks at your do (e.g. gin 'n' tonic, vodka 'n' lemonade, Harpic 'n' Red Bull, etc,), make your ice-cubes out of the relevant mixer. That way, as the cubes melt, they won't dilute the drink, but will gradually add to the flavour... Happy days!

He's surprisingly well-informed for a Staffordshire Bull Terrier...! I also like the fact that he was able to keep himself from mentioning the inventive and - occasionally - startling array of shaped ice-"cube" trays available from the emporium of Miss Ann Summers.
I'm so proud of him for that.

Need to sleep now. So - BIG Question - Will tomorrow be WORSE than today...? Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen...!
CAN it get any worse? ... ... It's ME - of course it will be MUCH worse!
Got to keep smiling, for now, though.
Sweet dreams all. Much love from Jasper and me.
