I was confused to begin with, but if you have the coupon from Dove and use in conjunction with the Boots BOGOF it means that the one you pay for is free as Boots will claim the money from Dove via the coupon, but it is a bit iffy, I used mine in local Boots and all was fine, but my mum tried to use hers in a diff Boots and they wouldn't take it(I got a right telling off by her as she has never used a coupon in her life and was only doing it because I told her too! - I'm 37!!! and still getting in trouble with my mum!!)

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:This made me laugh! I am 46 next Birthday & my Mum still tells me off! I guess we will always be their Babies!

The worst thing about it is that it means that I have years of being told off ahead of me (hopefully!) and even more years of telling off my little one's - it's hard being a woman!
  • Sadly didnt work in the Preston Boots the other day. the cashier scanned it but no joy. No idea why. Bummer, oh well! Might try elsewhere. Gonna end up with gazillions of dove deoderants...

Pixie Girlie - workied for me on Friday in Fishergate Boots, although the SA did scrutinise the voucher. I made sure I had the 150ml version @ £2.15 each, and bought a £2.99 meal deal with them. Total to pay £2.35!:j
  • i managed to use my coupon fine in boots - the SA was confused at first, but i explained how it worked, and she took the coupon and it scanned fine. she even said 'ooh, that's good isn't it?'

i think it's always worth asking if they will try to scan it, as surely if boots management did not want it accepted, they would programme the tills to reject it????

Used mine on a self scan machine this morning. Just had 2 deodorants and scanned voucher, had meant to add some olay facewash but remembered that till would beep if using 2 vouchers.

Till still beeped and had to wait for assistant who asked what the voucher was and checked on screen, saw that total price was £0.00 and said what a good deal I had. She then took me to her till to put through the facewash, 3 smile toothpastes (on 342) and another 2 deodorants, used Dove voucher and skinny, paid a under £3 gained another skinny and 50 extra points.

Also managed to womble 2 skinnies out of a basket. So a very good morning.

    Thanks to OP.
