  • Lil_me Thanks for the info – unfortunately I can’t get the link to work – maybe you could pm me it – are there really lots of !!!!! or has it been changed due to restrictions on the boards? I actually already have IBS which has already flared up so dread to think what “bowel issues” I’ll have when I don’t have a gallbladder! I will google the diet sheet and hopefully get some useful info from that – thanks for your help x
Toottifrootti – Thanks for letting me know. Having a bit of a pain attack this morning but once everything is calmed down I need to get some cleaning done. I have one day off and can’t believe the mess my husband and kids have left the lounge in!
Triker – Having just read your post I feel a bit silly for getting so upset about the pain I’m in. Hope you feel stronger soon x
Lemanie – That really is a tough decision but I’m sure you will make the right one. I’m going to see surgeon (or his team) at the end of this month. The worst thing is that I’m in pain with gallstones and ibs at the moment and even when the gallstones have gone I know the other pain will still be there! It’s so frustrating when there are some real lazy people out there with nothing wrong with them and there are others, ourselves included that do so many things for so many people and when we are ill or in pain we don’t want to let them down
Zoelikesjam – I also have to list Amelia’s clothes on ebay – maybe you could sort my daughters out as well!

Enough of my whining about the pain – unfortunately it’s not getting the housework done. Just need to pop into town to post a couple of parcels, pick up some more dishwasher tablets and sort the house!!

And why would anyone put cream carpets in a flamin rental property anyway???!??!?

We live in a rental property too, and there is carpet in the bathroom and kitchen, it drives me round the bend! Can sympathise with you over the cream carpet, hope you can get it clean again! Hope your mum recovers quickly

Thanks everyone for your comments, yes I will deffo be going for another walk soon, going to try and go as many days of the week as I can. It did me lots of good, I felt great all afternoon!

I did lots of shredding today, and lots of it was stuff from when I worked for the council last year. Why do they use so many staples? It’s so annoying! Good job I’ve got strong nails!

I’ve decided (after DH informed me I need find all the docs to buy car tax) that I really need to tackle our paperwork situation. I’ve not been up to doing any filing what so ever for the last two years, the nearest I’ve come to it was putting all the paperwork in one cupboard. When the cupboard got full DH emptied it into a huge bag. I’ve got ring binders that are full of my bank statements etc from before I got married, so need to empty and shred those, and then I can refill the binders with the current stuff. Just knowing where my car docs are would be such a relief. Going straight to something instead of an hours search thorugh a plastic bag will be a huge improvement, so I’m going to do it.

And I’ve worked out how I can tidy under our bed without getting too tired. Once I’ve emptied huge shelf in bathroom, I will refill it with stuff from under bed, sort that and then repeat until under the bed is done. That way, if I can’t manage the whole lot in one day, I won’t feel so bad. Also there will be less bending down as the shelf is at waist height. Sounds like a great plan to me!

Holly I hope Neveah is ok

Hugs Gotnodosh, so sorry about your friend

Soappie glad to hear you’ve got another job, WTG!

Zoe how lovely to hear from you. Glad your wedding plans are going well and that you have been given more DLA and a parking badge and space, that should make life much easier! Hope your blinkin neighbours respect your space, what happens if they park in it? When is your op going to be?

    Welcome Tiptoes and Misss Lia

Sexy yes I would love to join you on a walk. Glad you’ve managed to hand in your resignation, what a palaver they make of everything!

Hugs Frodders, am thinking of Joseph’s family, and all of you at school that knew him

    Hugs Keggie

Sarah I hope your DD is better soon, and the op goes well

Poohspals hope you can get some treatment soon and feel better

Bras: This Morning had an expert from Rigby and Peller in the other day and she said that there is no standard sizing, so each shop is different. Which is why we can never get bras to fit cos we think we are one size when actually the bras in the shop aren’t the size we think they are IYSWIM. I’m having a nightmare finding out what size I actually need and finding some nice ones in my price range!

Triker I’m glad you are getting such good care from your specialist, hopefully that’s taken a lot of worries away for you xx

Hugs Lemanie, sounds like some very difficult decisions coming up

Triker glad you got on well and that you have confidence in your specialist - we tried to tell you you were doing too much - you are like me - you feel good so you try to make up for lost time when in fact you are not giving your body a chance to fully recover. I hope the new antibiotics dont give you any nasties and do the trick to protect you - please pace yourself as much as possible - love and hugs
    toots xx

Good advice Toots..... perhaps you should be taking a leaf out of your own book!! :rotfl: Love n hugs xx
We live in a rental property too, and there is carpet in the bathroom and kitchen, it drives me round the bend! Can sympathise with you over the cream carpet, hope you can get it clean again! Hope your mum recovers quickly

Thanks to all for your messages of support. She is as good as can be expected and still on a lot of oxygen but the doctors are pleased with her. But she is very tired and upset - its quite difficult. Not much will change for the rest of the week, then they will determine if there is any reduction in the blood clots. She needs to have a scan on her legs to see if there are any other clots there.

I did get the carpet clean - well cleaner than it was. A big scoop full of vanish and some hot water and a good old scrub and it came up much better. I did the bottom bit of the stairs that I had been meaning to do anyway so at least I can cross that off my to-do list.

Im glad you noticed the difference in yourself after your walk Rosepink....I hope it inspires you to keep it up! Even if you can build yourself up to walking out of the house and to the end of the road and back everyday, it would be so good for you. Im glad youre making such good progress.

    Hugs xx

    Morning everyone.

The snow has mostly gone from here although we are having flurries. Dailies are done and most of the living room list. Will hoover after the man has been to pick up a parcel. Proud of DD as my flylady tips must be rubbing off on her. Her bed room very badly needs decorating and I said ages ago I would help pay for stuff. She rang before to say she had declutterd wardrobe into piles to keep or not. Her friends will help get wardrobe out as its falling to bits. She says its a challenge and something to do. Given her lots of tips and encouragement. I was worried she was depressed again.

    Welcome to the newbies.

Froddy Hugs for you and prayersfor Joseph and his family.
Soappie I find that my intuition or a feeling about something is usually right.
lil_me Glad DS2s hospital appointment went ok.
Mrs Chaos Ive looked at e readers but there is nothing like the feel of a book.

Triker Sounds like you have a really good doctor there. Take it easy.
